5-Day Free Course · K-12 Teaching

AI for Teachers Better Lessons. Less Grading.

Lesson plans, differentiation, parent emails, IEP-aligned materials, grading — the writing load on a K-12 teacher in 2026 is unsustainable. AI can take a real bite out of the prep and the paperwork without changing what matters most: what happens in your classroom. This course teaches the workflows that respect your time and your students.

A teacher's-eye introduction.

This 5-day course is built by a teacher's-eye view of what actually eats your time. It is for K-12 classroom teachers, instructional coaches, special-education teachers, and the support staff who help them. The premise is simple: AI is excellent at the writing and adapting tasks that fill your evenings. It is not a substitute for the relationship between you and your students.

Each day produces a real artifact you can use this Monday — a unit plan, a differentiated assignment set, an IEP-aligned modification, a feedback bank, a parent-communication template, and a classroom AI policy you can hand to your students on the first day of the next unit.

FERPA, district AI policy, and grading integrity are threaded through every day. We will be specific about what content can safely go into a general-purpose AI tool, what cannot, and how to think about the AI tools that students are using whether you address them or not.

The 5 Days

Each day stands alone. Read in order or jump to the workflow that frees your evening first.

Concrete outcomes by Friday.

By the end of the week you will have done each of these at least once with templates to repeat them.

Plan a unit in an evening

Standards in, AI-drafted unit plan out. You spend the saved hours on the activities and discussions that AI cannot prepare.

Differentiate one assignment three ways

Reading-level scaffolds, ELL adaptations, and IEP modifications produced from a single source assignment in minutes instead of hours.

Give every student real feedback

Use AI to draft individualized feedback that you review and personalize, instead of one-size-fits-all comments because you ran out of time.

Communicate with families consistently

Newsletters, weekly emails, conference summaries, and tough-conversation drafts — all with a consistent voice that respects FERPA.

Design assessments students can't ChatGPT

Project-based, classroom-witnessed, and process-evidenced assessments that hold up in the AI era.

Teach AI literacy to your students

A clear classroom policy and student-facing rubric that distinguishes useful AI use from cheating.

Three kinds of educators read this.

Classroom Teachers

You teach all day, plan all evening, grade all weekend. AI gives back chunks of the prep and the paperwork without changing your teaching.

Instructional Coaches

You support teachers across many subjects. AI lets you produce model lessons, observation summaries, and PD materials at the pace your district needs.

Special Education Staff

You write modifications, IEP drafts, and progress reports constantly. AI takes the formatting load while you focus on the student-specific judgment.

If teaching AI fits, these are the natural next steps.
