Day 5 builds the systems that make AI-powered research compound over time: a query library, a knowledge base, and workflow templates for your most common research tasks.
The queries that produce great Perplexity results are worth saving. Within a few weeks you will have a library of 20-30 proven queries for your domain. This library is your research system.
Organize it by research type:
Claude Projects lets you create a persistent context for an ongoing research area. Upload your key research documents and Claude remembers them across all conversations in that project.
# Set up in a Claude Project:
You are my research assistant for [specific domain].
I have uploaded the following reference documents:
- [Document 1]: [what it covers]
- [Document 2]: [what it covers]
When I ask questions:
1. Draw on the uploaded documents first
2. Clearly indicate when you are reasoning from
the documents vs from general knowledge
3. If the documents do not cover the question,
say so explicitly
My research goals: [describe your ongoing focus]| Tool | Best For |

| Claude | Analysis, synthesis, frameworks, reasoning across documents |
| Claude Projects | Ongoing research areas with persistent context |
| Google Scholar | Academic papers, peer-reviewed research |
